WK threw 4 CODES!!! HELP!!!

I was driving to lunch today...with clients of course... and the 4 cylinders with the MDS decided to not turn back on...great! It was awesome So I took it to the local mechanic and 4 codes! Code P3449, P3441, P3425, P3701

I have them running a diagnostic on the Jeep in the morning. This really sucks...only had the Jeep for like 2 weeks.

I also talked to the mechanic about the clicking and etc...He informed me that the hemi engines are very bad with the valves and their seat. Apparently the seat will break and cause slack in the rocker which causes the slap/tick noise. I am wondering if I got new heads if it will eliminate this problem. I also have talked to a guy with Diablo Sport about a custom tune and I think he said he could write a tune that would cut out the MDS.

Has anyone done the MDS delete in their tune? Has anyone ran into these codes? Has anyone replaces the heads on their WK?

P3449 - MDS Solenoid 7 Circuit
P3441 - MDS Solenoid 6 Circuit
P3425 - MDS Solenoid 4 Circuit
P3701 - this code doesn't exist in my FSM

These are circuit codes, so I'd be looking for a loose/dirty connector, or mechanical damage to a harness.

So is the the spark plug harness or is there a special harness for the mds system? Sorry this system is new to me.

I think he means 3401, and that would be the No. 1 cylinder MDS solenoid. As said above, he should look first at anything common to all. All the wires do not go to the same plug in the PCM, but they all go into the engine at the same point. Bw, go over to the JU forum and read my response there.

I don't have any direct experience with it, but it looks like it is in the harness that goes down the left rear of the engine toward the transmission (C112 in the attached pic).

I think you're right, Tom. Somewhere back there it goes into the back of the engine, around the intake manifold, I think. DannyVtCa has had his apart (new heads/cam) and if he sees this maybe he'll let us know for sure.
