Would a 6.1 bolt up to a not srt tranny

i have a 5.7 right now looking at a 6.1 thats for sale thu on the charger forums would it bolt up

The money your going to spend getting it installed, tuned, transmission work because your current tranny wont hold up, new PCM's, TCM's man the list is alot more then just a regular motor swap.

Im not sure if the bellhousings are the same....but the 545rfe can handle up to 500 hp from what Ive been told by some very smart tranny guys

It can but you will have to change the torque converter etc. Just too many variables to take into consideration and money to do this swap, longevity wise anyway.

I would go with a stroker build, over a sawp. Might be better option and less headache.

Forgot to mention, but a supercharger could be a less expensive and easier route.

There is a guy that has installed a 6.1 in a limited when his 5.7 hydro-locked. You should be able to find a picture of him on the Off-Road section.
