Re: XenonDepot HID install and question

I will have the oem ones soon, but these will do for the time being. I don't think you can beat the look of the oem.

Re: XenonDepot HID install and question

Do you regret not getting projector style housings? Did you notice a huge improvement over stock head lights? I just ordered a Hid kit but I'm worried about the stock reflector style housings. I opted for the 4300k temps... was told it's the brightest?

Looks good!

One curious note, it looks like you used two relays, whereas they sent me only one relay with connectors for both headlights.

It's a vast improvement over stock. The non projector housing will def give you light scatter but I'm ok w it. Haven't been flashed yet!! 4300k is the best of all color temps and is the "brightest"

I don't really regret not buying projector style headlights. All the aftermarket projector style look really cheap and I haven't heard great things about them. OEM projectors are the way to go IMO. And yes there was an enormous improvement. I wish my camera would really capture the improvement better so you guys can see.

Re: XenonDepot HID install and question

How are you using 2 relays for low beams??

I'm assuming one relay is for the lows and the other is for the highs???

iirc mine was a T20 torx screw... Again, iirc there is a hole in the filler cover and you can stick the driver through the hole to access the adjustment.

I also agree with lowering the driver lamp to the passanger lamp. I had to turn mine down approx 1.5-2 turns from stock, vision is still night and day over stock, so much so driving a vehicle at work with oem projectors other than exterior asthetics and that beautiful cutoff line, I prefer the ouput from my halogen housings.
