2002 jeep liberty system setup help

Hi everyone, I'm looking to replace my speakers in my doors with some after market speakers. I believe I have infinity stock speakers right now but one is blown which is driving me crazy. My plan is to run the stock radio running the 4 speakers in the doors and 2 mid-ranges in the dash which I plan to swap out at some point. I am going to run a 10" mtx sub off a Rockford Fosgate Punch 120 that I got for free. Any recommendations for which speakers would sound good in this scenario? I'm on a budget so I don't want to spend more than $150 for 4 door speakers if that's possible. Any insight on whether this will even sound good would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 2002 jeep liberty system setup help

Well things didn't go according to plan or budget, lol. I ended up going with a new Sony Bluetooth Receiver and 2 x 6.5" Sony 4-way woofers in the front doors, to go with the MTX Sub and the RF Punch 120.

I had to eliminate using any of the stock speakers, at least at the moment, due to amps being installed in both the left and right front speakers. All the sound actually runs through them. I only hooked up the new Sony's thinking it will be enough, but when I get some time and it gets a little warmer I may try to hook up the mid-ranges just to try them out.

All in all it sounds really tight, nice strong feel, with very little distortion, or outside noise/vibration. I still have to fine tune over a little bit of time but all in all I like it so far.

Thanks for all you suggestions, feel free to ask if you have any questions on these type of installs.
