2013 JGC Laredo with RBZ radio ugrade question

Hi all...i have a 2013 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo with stock RES radio...it has uconnect...voice command.. Etc... I would like to upgrade to the RBZ touch screen radio..I dont need navagation or back up camera...just like the look of it...question is will it work with current wire harness or do I need to buy a new one..I see them going for About $400 on ebay but don't want to make purchase until I know if it will work with my model... Welcome to Jeep Garage.

Should be plug and play.
Do you have sirius also? My upgrade from the RES to RHB was super easy.

Go to WK2JEEPS.COM and compare the part number of the radios you are looking at with what is on the site.

Savage,

Did you have a successful install? Was there a need for a new wire harness going from RES to RBZ?

Re: 2013 JGC Laredo with RBZ radio ugrade question

@ Movets - it is plug and play going from RES to RHB. Since the U-connect module is separate even the phone pairings switched over automatically. As long as you verify the part number and order the correct radio, it is 10 minutes and done.

If you buy new, it will come with an antenna and wiring harness - neither is needed as they had the antenna installed in all 2013's with the connectivity group.

Good luck, it's a night and day improvement, both aesthetically and technically.
