Thumbs up Re: 2016 Jeep Cherokee Uconnect screen protectors

The envelope with 2 screen protectors was delivered by USPS, today (16 March 2016). Followed the instructions to prep and apply the screen protector. Though instructions advise use of a credit card to squeeze out bubbles, an enclosed softer plastic triangular applicator worked fine. Edges of the screen were easily forced under the Uconnect screen black plastic frame. There were no bubbles and finger touch contacts worked flawlessly after affixing the screen protector.

Question Re: 2016 Jeep Cherokee Uconnect screen protectors

Howdy!
What did you use to clean the screen with? I like this idea as I normally cover all my touch screens.

Thanks

Oliver

Lightly sprayed a clean soft cotton cloth (old white t-shirt) with very small amount of generic window cleaner, which is how I clean my tablet touch screen. The cloth should barely be a little damp with window cleaner. Made sure the screen was completely dry before applying the screen protector sheet. Did the same thing with the tablet 'bout a year ago.

BTW, no problem gently pulling the protector screen off when it begins to stick to the screen while you're still positioning it.
