Any experience with JL Audio C2 speakers?

Hi All!

I was wondering if any of you had experience with JL Audio's C2 speaker line. My girlfriend is looking to upgrade the sound system in here 08 Cobalt coupe and doesn't want anything over the top like I have just better sound quality. I think she would be using it as a full-range speaker. Any other suggestions on speakers that would make a great full range speaker on a budget without using an amplifier?

Thanks and Cheers!

Caleb

Yes, I have all C2's in the WK. I think they sound great. I'm not really impressed with the bass output it's smooth, but not deep (to be expected), but they sound very crisp & clear. I don't use mine for bass anyway, so they are perfect. I say go for it, but they'd be even better if you can power them with an amp!

HAH! just read your sig. I've had nothing but JL since '03 and don't plan on changing that. The C2's are somewhere in between the old VR's & XR's, for the price, they're awesome.

Re: Any experience with JL Audio C2 speakers?

Thanks! For the insight on the C2's. We decided to go with them for her car. She's pretty excited and I think they'll sound pretty good. Not going with an amp right now but can always add one later. Sounds like you have a great set up! I've had JL Audio for 4-5 years and it's very difficult to beat it.

Re: Any experience with JL Audio C2 speakers?

I just posted a thread about these for my friends WJ Speaker Build. So far I'm liking the JL's!
