Post Audio Help?

Does anyone know where the three green wires go to , or what they do that go into the small square 10 pin contector, that plugs into the factory radio with the Boston system in an 05 Grand Cherokee?

Re: Audio Help?

You're going to have to be a bit more detailed in what you're trying to do...

Re: Audio Help?

I'm going to install an aftermarket radio. I just wanted to know what they are for. I tried testing them. I pulled the factory radio out had it on with music playing, unplugged and plugged back in the small square connector with the three green wires acouple of times, doesn't seem to do anything. The steering wheel controls still worked with it unpluged.

Oh, I gotcha. Those are the signal wires for the satellite radio.

O ok, thanks alot for the help. That makes me feel alot better. Finally got the answer i've been searching for. I've been searching for hours to find a diagram to explain what those wires where for.

haha, no problem man. Glad the Garage could assist.

I usually get to audio threads quickly, but I'm in the middle of construction of some home theater cabinets.
