audio questions

calling the gurus!

I have a 2007 SRT8 and I just added the Kicker amp and speaker package last night

My question is:

what is the best way to add my sub amp and JL subs to my REC system?

1) use a LOC
2) use the PAC CHY harness
3) any other way like maybe a similar way to how the Mopar Kicker sub taps in under the front dash?

any help is appreciated!

Re: audio questions

LOC

PAC Harness

High-level inputs (if amp has them)

They'll all work the same. Personally, I'd do them in this order;

PAC harness
High-level inputs
LOC

Re: audio questions

alright

I picked up the C2A CHY add-an-amp PAC piece

anyone know if I need to hook up the black wire on the PAC harness on my 07 with the REC nav???

the directions say:

"There is a Black wire coming out of the C2ACHY.
This wire will not be used in all installations. Test your amplifier for continuity from the RCA shield to the ground connection
terminal. If continuity exists, do not connect this black wire, isolate and do not use. If there is no continuity or if there is
high resistance between these two points, connect the black wire to the radio’s ground wire."

Im wanting to install a JL 500/1 slash amp btw......if that makes a difference.....

Re: audio questions

Not sure, but it can't hurt just to ground it.
