Re: Best HID Kit

Xenondepot kyle....stay away from the DDM kit, I owned it on my old car, they are junk, and they give you a terrible relay.

You get what you pay for remember that

Re: Best HID Kit

Thats kind of what i though, $40 kit = $40 quality.

I plan to make a purchase this week so i will give Xenondepot a shout and see what he can do for me for 5 or 6000k Lows all inclusive.

Thanks everyone!, Id deff rather support a vendor then made DDM. I forgot about xenondepot.

Re: Best HID Kit

I have 6000k HID's in my stock housings, and I have not been flashed, even when I ask other drivers, they say it isn't bad. I would recommend going with the higher quality kit though...

Re: Best HID Kit

I have had a lot of experience with Xentac HID's from Tony. I recommend Tony if you want something affordable too! I'm going to purchase some from him soon. You should go with 5k Lows IMO.

maybe it's the car?

seriously tho, we all know the love for xenondepot here, i just gave another brand you might consider based on my experience.

what makes a relay "terrible"?

They only give you one relay, which at the time had to be spliced into the system, as well as it had one extra random wire that hung from it...

compared to the relay xenondepot has sent me, it was night and day

Re: Best HID Kit

No splicing needed and no random wires. Probably a new manufacturer or something. But you do need to purchase it separately from the kit.

Re: Best HID Kit

I'm very happy with my 5k lows and fogs from Xenondepot...I got two of their Xtreme kits. 6k will start looking blue.

Re: Best HID Kit

seems so. It was just that some might take it from your earlier post that you are referring to the relays they give out "now".

It's all in one's opinion of which is "better" than another, as long as we are happy with what we got its all goooood.

Re: Best HID Kit

Just to chime in..
I bought the 5000k (low beam) and 3500k (fogs) from Xenon Depot when i first bought my Jeep SRT8 in 07 and I have never had a problem. They are super bright and pretty easy to install (maybe i say that because i am a engineer) but i send big kudoos to Xenon Depot for a great product.
I would deff go with Xenon Depot!
