Boston audio system

Hi all,
I am looking for some advice if possible regarding the Boston premium sound system in my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee overland. The monitor has blown and I need to replace , so is it cheaper and safe to buy a secondhand unit ( any advice where is welcome and an idea of price ) or not s there a after market replacement available that would work for around 500 fitted?
