weird... i am gunna instal tomorrow but today i decided to just pull out the old stereo to look at the harness.. i took the new one and it connected perfectly to it.. appears that i dont have the BA system... even though the speakers say BA on them. weird

Need some big help$!! Ok im pretty sure i don't have he premium. Sound since my wire harness fits perfectly. I have all the wires connected now...but can't get headunit to work

Yup, I unplugged my 12v hookup in the jeep and connected it to my HU

How do i bypass??? Im confused. I spoke to a car guy and said i need that expensive harness with box. Also said don't cut stuff,

Help haha. What 12v? I will bypass?

you need to get power to the head unit. the bypass Moe is referring to is the 12v connection on the center console (prolly the cig lighter), so if I am reading it right he un-hooked the power for the 12v and ran it to the head unit? that right Moe?

If it says boston then it is. you need the premium harness. the cheap one will fit but won't work. The other harness has the 12 volts you need and it also will turn on the factory amp. if you don't want to use the factory amp and harness, you will have to run a dedicated power, accessory, and ground for the deck and also completely run new speaker wires because all the factory ones go through the amp first.
