So when I installed all my new mids and highs I knew I would have to move my Sirius Sportster 5 from the suction cup mount above my driver side tweeter. I wanted to figure out a way to use the useless cubby hole infront of the shifter (useless, unless you're a smoker as it holds a pack of butts nicely)
This is what I came up with. It's piece of soft maple that I cut to fit the cubby hold, I then used some 1/8" cork and spray glued it to the piece of maple, trimmed the cork. Then rounded all the edges with some 120 sand paper.
I took the Sirius dock apart and screwed the back of the dock on the the cork block, Then attached the front of the dock back on so you can't see any screws.
I'm happy with it for now, I'm gonna make one for my iPhone aswell.
I also hardwired the power wire behind the center stack.
