Re: Diboblo WK Blue LED interior conversion PICS

hi guys, does anybody know how to disassemble speedometer cluster? The hardest thing for me is take off the pointers(arrows) to get access to bulbs.

Re: Diboblo WK Blue LED interior conversion PICS

There are NO bulbs in the cluster. It is 100% LED's in there.

You can pull the pointers off by hand, but you run the risk of throwing the calibration off.

Additionally, when you install the pointers, you run the risk of having them stick.

I fabricated a pointer puller to do this, and it works well.

There are potentially over 50 LED's in the cluster, to deal with... and after doing a number of these things, it takes me about 8 hours to complete the mod.

Good luck, brother.

Bob

I should have known better than to join this forum... Now im on the verge of pulling everything out of the jeep and putting blue leds in lol. Looks awesome, any pointers on removing the door switches and homelink buttons? I already know how to get into the hvac and menu buttons in the center. Thanks!

Thanks!

It was one of the most popular colors in the Jeep, Charger, 300, Challenger and Magnums... hands down!

Red was a close second

This thread is for color change mods that I provide to the community.

The members of this forum are VERY helpful in regards to removing parts from the vehicle. I'm sure someone will step up to lend a hand
