LMAO! I forgot all about that. Totally slipped my mind. The guy only had one 1.2 Ohm left. I'll use that for one side and the other two in parallel on the other. I hope it works.

Re: Dual LED Blinker-Solved the Problem!!!!

Nice, I'm very happy you solved the problem. I say you guys should contact V-LEDs and let them know about the problem and even mention what resistor works. Maybe they can make some or supply them.

Re: Dual LED Blinker-Solved the Problem!!!!

Problem is that it seems to vary per application as to what resistors are needed. I believe Frankie has the same setup but has used different resistors.

I agree, for my WJ I used 6ohm resistors and no problems there.

Sorry to say but F V-Leds.com, they didnt seem to help or do any research on there own product, they had my money for the bulbs and left me to feel it was my problem to figure out.

Now at least people on this site know to either use a 6, 3, or 1.2 ohm 50 watt resistor. And it is a little odd it does seem to vary from WK's about which resistor is needed. One would assume since its a 3157 stock bulb then the same resistor would work with all applications, but thats not the case. Now I just hope these dual LEDs dont burn out as quick as my interior LEDs seem to be. If they dont last the life that I have my car i'll be pissed because of the cost of them and just switch back to stock instead of buying replacements. Im surprised dual bulbs havent popped up on ebay sold from china or something for cheaper.

Re: Dual LED Blinker-Solved the Problem!!!!

Oh, and just an update on how they are working with the 1.2 ohm 50 watt resistors, I drove to work this morning with my lights on for about 40 min and I checked them out in the lot parked right in back of a truck so I could see the lights reflection, after using the blinker the white would light up 2 seconds after. It was not instant, and I was counting by "mississippi's", Lol. Both lights were consistant and work great IMO.

Re: Dual LED Blinker-Solved the Problem!!!!

I have been back and forth with VLEDs and he knows about this. I told him someone here deserves the credit for fixing th problem. He did say that he found that the '07 Jeeps have a separate circuit for the front and rear lights therefore there is no need for the higher resistance. I told him about hooking the two 3 Ohm resistors in parallel to acheive 1.5 Ohms and his response was like a light went off in his head. He told me to try it and let him know how it works. If it works, he will look into carrying 1.2 Ohm resistors. My next thing is to tell him that anyone who reported the LED problem should recieve a free set of resistors.

Re: Dual LED Blinker-Solved the Problem!!!!

Nope, mines an 05.

And sorry to say but V-Leds has no clue what they are talking about. I put in a 13 watt red LED 3157 bulb in my rear blinker and got it working properly with a 7 ohm 50 watt resistor back there, but it didnt change the way the dual front led worked what so ever.

Im not just bashing V-Leds for the hell of it either, I really dont expect them to test out all there bulbs in every single make and model car, but at least answer my dam emails and TRY to help out on a product they sell. Thats why.

Re: Dual LED Blinker-Solved the Problem!!!!

ok guys so im also buying these today or tom...

i found a new link what do you guys think of these? will these fit?
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/T...-p7472046.html

they have more leds so they should be even brighter than the older ones (http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/T...46227-1-2.html)

in the new ones the page description states "If you have an Jeep Cherokee SRT8 you will need a pair of 3 ohm resistors wired into the high element turn signal wire."

LOLOL i bet this was after timmy and eddie complained!
