There is, but in this case I was referring to deadening the outer and inner skin as it seems this is the 'amount' he was on the fence about.

I'm pretty sure he meant if had to or should put it back on after applying deadener... in that case, no.

Don't expect dramatic affects of dampening with normal products, you'd need lead and concrete to do it correctly and that's just not practical at all.
So I should cancel that shipment of concrete then eh? haha, jk. I wish I would have know about CLD tiles before I deadened my doors. Those little buggers could have come in handy.

Have you started your build yet Andy? I'm freakin' loving the Founteks!! Thinking of replacing the SLS's though.

Re: Dynamat Advice...

I got my box for the sub half built and then had to start school again. And I spend all my free time at the gym now.

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna try and trade up my 2 Sundowns for a single JL HD so I dont have to build a fase floor. The biggest thing holding me back is that when I dampened my passenger door, I screwed something up and the door card doesnt fit back perfectly, so I'm nervous to rip everything out. I just really need to bite the bullet

That's a good call! If I was to get a new amp for my Jeep it'd definitely be the 900/5 - sexy beast! Plus, you don't need the extra processing built-in to the SAX anyways.

Yeah; LOVE THEM! They are heavily stuffed with polyester fiberfill though.
