Re: getting rid of nav nag screen

gc4x4...did you install the REC Nav radio yourself or did your jeep come with it. the nav antenna can really throw things off. if you installed it yourself, the antenna has to lay flat down. most people mount them behind the dash. as far as the nav warning, if you leave your radio in any other mode(sat, cd, or fm) the warning won't be there. it only comes on when you first turn the nav on. i only turn the nav on when i actually need it. there are also tons of people who sell hacked cd's that allow in motion input.

No, I have the RER Mygig nav radio, I did install it myself since I have some experience with car stereos and I installed it exactly like it would come from the factory,same gps antenna location etc. I may update to the latest software like Milous suggested and see if the bugs get worked out. I do use the nav alot because I drive to my customers houses and some of them live way out in the country, so its nice to have the navigation available at all times.
