Help: Do I need anything? 2005 Jeep WK

Hi there,

I bought one of those ouku android double din dvd-gps-etc. radio's off ebay from China. I beg of you to please not tell me about how I get what I pay for, because, trust me, I understand. I bought it just because I wanted to give it a try and if it doesn't last me 10 years like a pioneer, then that's not the end of the world to me. Anyway... I've searched and searched for anyone else who has installed one on a Jeep GC, but idk if I'm not searching the write names or whatever but I couldn't find anything!

So... here's a quick clip of the actual unit I bought for reference. It's exactly like the one shown in the video.
">
" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350">

Here's a picture of it:

And now here's what it looks like from behind, with extra info from the instructions...

My question is do I need any harnesses? It claims to be plug and play, but I don't want to start the project and then get at it and realize idk wtf I did wrong! Also, I bought the back-up camera, so do I need any harness for that?

Has anyone else put one of these in?

Should also mention that I have a 2005 WK without any navigation or rearview camera... it's the RAQ radio.

Go to metra and get a harness.
Boom drop the mic.

You need to know if you have factory amp.

Then you will need a bezel.

The rest is plugging it in.

Thanks for your reply!!! Much appreciated!

Yes, I have factory amp with Boston Acoustic system! Does that mean another harness?

Metra Online

Is that the part I'm looking for?

Should also mention that I have steering wheel controls that I would like to retain!

And that the unit came with a rearview camera!

You need a steering wheel control adapter either metra ASWC or pac SWI-RC. Then you need the correct wiring harness. Pacs harness is an aai-chy I believe. Can't recall the metra part number. You also need a factory Chrysler navigation bezel to correctly fit a double din as well as the dash kit. Or you can cut your stock bezel and rig it. Everything can be found on ebay or Amazon.

Thanks friend!

I ended up with everyone you said except the actual harness :S haha

This is the one I got: Amazon.com : PAC Chrysler Can Bus Radio Repl/Chime : Vehicle Amplifiers : Car Electronics

The only comment was from an 05 WK owner, so I figured it was the right one! haha
