hid low's highs and fogs any problems?

i have finally got my jeep back from the shop and they did not know where to buy hid's for my car because i guess there just stupid but any way. i found a shop who is getting them all done for free from insurance and wondering if any one has ran into any problems doing this? thanx

Make sure you use relays.

I would use one relay for one bulb. So if you have 2 low beams, and 2 fogs, I would suggest using 4 relays,

And properly grounding them on the factory grounds!

In other cars, I have not needed to use relays due to current draw is less than that of an incadescent bulb.

Our Jeeps have some smarts and just won't work.

White Choco is onto something. I had one 20 amp relay for 2 50watt HID and it got stuck. I am on a 30 now, hopefully it lasts.

Is it me or everything plastic on the new Jeeps is cheap and breaks easily?

Also, if I were you, I'd re-consider doing HID highs...kind of a waste and you'll burn through bulbs if you use your highs a lot. HID's don't like being turned on and off a lot and that's all you do with highs...but if it's free, what the hell. Just be prepared for more spendy bulb replacements later on.
