Time will tell.
So all modern vehicles will have some form of vulnerability.
They're all hackable until that vulnerability is discovered and addressed with some type of software update. Microsoft has dealt with this for how many years now? How many different kernels out there are well known and used daily by programmers? Does this not mean these systems will continue to evolve into more secure systems? It's just technology growing another branch. It's not something we lose sleep over because we're worried about our cars being stolen by some guy with a laptop. I have a greater chance of being car jacked everytime I drive into certain parts of Chicago.
