LED Bulbs in an 08 WK

Hello,

I recently bought these from V-LEDS

http://www.v-leds.com/v-leds-red-92-....html?___SID=U

and from what I have gathered on other threads I will need to cut, swap, and intall a 6ohm resistor between the two outter wires.

Is that all? Secondly I only have 4ohm resistors at 50W. Does it have to be 6 ohm?

Thanks in advance!

Re: LED Bulbs in an 08 WK

yes u need a resistor due to the blinkin of the turn signal
without that u wil have hyper flash

yes i believe its the 2 outter wires

i believe the less ohm the better but i could be wrong
i thought i read that somewhere

Re: LED Bulbs in an 08 WK

since NOT CK yes you need to swap the OUTER wires. and run a resistor across those 2 wires. 4 ohms at 50 w should be fine. we run 6ohm at 50w but from little i know 4 will work. it gets hot so find a nice place for them.

at the beginning of this thread you can sort of see what i did with my rear resistors.

Re: LED Bulbs in an 08 WK

YEP! Funny the way the fuse system works on this vehicle. A seperate fuse for just the parking left/right parking circuit?!

anyway they look great though!
