Line OUt Converter (LOC) Breakdown 2005

Hey everyone thanks for the info on installing the amp to my factory radio. Everything came out good. Except the sound doesnt seem to be normal. I tapped into the stock amplifier on the driver side rear quarter panel. If any one has picks or a breakdown of how to get this right please let me know. My line out converter has 5 wires and 2 of the four are connected to each other. Other is ground im assuming. I only tapped into 2 wires from the stock amp is this correct?

Re: Line OUt Converter (LOC) Breakdown 2005

on the line output converter you should have two sets of speakers leads and a grounding wire.

You most likely have
white
white/black
grey
grey/black
brown.

White is your positive left
White/Black is your Negative left
Grey is Positive Right
Grey/Black Negative Right
Brown - Ground.

You will need to hook up all of the wires.

If going to an amp for a subwoofer only, use the front door outputs from the amplifier. wkjeeps.com will have all the wiring info you need.
