Re: Little Help

I'm guessing the factory plug/wire is proprietary... can you take a pic?

Re: Little Help

Post up a pic...More then likely you are going to need a RCA style connector and wire it to the factory wire...Thats what i ended up doing...

Here is what you could use

Re: Little Help

Ok well I am bringing this issue back up if anyone can help me I know I need an RCA Plug, that's easy enough I have done plenty of wiring in my days and I am not worried about it. What I am worried about is the actual pin out.

3 Dark Green / Brown CAMERA SIGNAL
4 Dark Green / Orange CAMERA RETURN
5 Dark Green / White CAMERA SHIELD
6 Gray / Brown VIDEO SIGNAL 1
7 Gray / White VIDEO COMMON 1
8 Dark Green / Tan VIDEO SHIELD 1
9 Gray / Light Blue VIDEO SHIELD 2
10 Gray / Yellow VIDEO COMMON 2
11 Dark Green / Brown VIDEO SHIELD 2

I understand the camera is 3, 4, and 5. but do the other video outputs have anything to do with it? Also I know that shield should go to ground and signal to signal but where would return go would that just splice in with signal???

Thanks for all your help guys and i think this will help out in the future.

Re: Little Help

so looking up more info i found out that the shield is not hooked up to the camera at all so i am guessing that signal goes to signal and return to ground does that sound right to you guys?
