Wow! It's been a while huh? Family and retail hours will do it to you.
Well, I've gotten a little progress done. I decided to cut out the buttons and heater controls all in one piece so that I keep the mount clips with the bundle...


Leaving the clips that mount the center stack intact...


It's not pretty now, but it's moving along. I did buy a used bezel for this and took off the wood grain. To my Surprize, the wood grain is made of aluminum. I had no idea.

Looks great...I know what you mean on the faux wood grain haha it's like metal laminate. Keep us posted, I think u are on the right track

Thanks. It's a two tone light grey and dark grey with the wood grain. I just feel like the wood grain doesn't belong.
Intense for a first timer like me, yes. But the further I go, the more I want to do.
