Re: My build

I'm actively looking for some bezel or molding/lining to put around the lip of the plastic where I cut around the amp. Any suggestions?

As for the box, I'll still be using the current one. I just have to get that damned drawer built because I'm sick of looking at the bare cavity.

Re: My build

well if its going to be covered by the box, then i dont think i would worry about the looks. but i have a question. why did you cut the storage bin? didnt it fit just sitting on top?

Re: My build

Update. I finished the back doors. I just need to wire the right rear and install the xovers for both. Then deal with the headunit and battery and Ill be done!

^ That black clip you see is what keeps me from wiring the components. The same thing was in the front doors. So I had my Dremel have a 'come to jesus' talk with the clip... no more clip!

Re: My build

ok i guess not, but from the first pics you put up, it looks like it wasnt higher than the floor. so it seems like you could have just installed it in the stroage area, and then you could have put the box back in instead of putting the cover back on. please dont get me wrong, im not putting down your system in anyway, just wondering.

wow you posted to fast LOL. man that looks great!!! i didnt know you were putting the 3 ways in the rear doors also. good job

Re: My build

hows that video coming along? lol no rush, just making sure you didn't forget about us, not that video could ever do us any justice, unless you have a pro camera and some serious recording skills lol

Re: My build

Well I DID have a pro camera until some dick cheese broke into my apartment and stole it. But I do have a shiney new iPhone with a supposed 720p video camera and I'm sure the mic isn't too far behind in quality. I'll film it when it's done. Of course with the iPhone on a dock. Besides, I could have the best recording equip in the world and it wouldn't help you unless you have a really good sound card w/ good headphones in your pc or have it hooked up to your stereo

Re: My build

just throwing this out there. have you thought about painting the door speaker grills black to match the new ones you put in? seems like it might look real nice.

Re: My build

I thought about it but that woofer grill is a leg rubbing spot and I could see paint having a problem there. Also, it would foresee me to take the door panel off and I aint going back in there anytime soon.
