Re: My system Downgrade.

Ok, never realized, but if you do start making them (and would be willing to ship) you could put me down for the third one!!!

Best sub enclosure I've seen, period.

Re: My system Downgrade.

Damn, my reply never went through... anyways, the enclosures are freakin' sick Will!! Looks like professional work!

Make a mold and start cranking those out for WJ owners!!!

I've always though about getting a second sub (single 15 or 18) and a big ass ported enclosure - just to toss in every once in awhile for fun... I hear ya on wanting to free up some cargo space. My trunk in my last car was completely consumed with enclosure - I had to put my groceries in the back seat, lol.

Again, enclosure look flawless!!

Re: My system Downgrade.

Thanks Matt. I like the big systems....but I don't really like them in my daily driver anymore. My last one broke to many things. My driver side rear window regulator went out recently (in the process of getting a new one and replacing it) and when I took my door panel off my rear speaker was dangling there only held on by the magnet of the speaker because the speaker mount was completely broke off from my last set up. It had to of been like that for awhile! Ontop of my sunroof motors wiring ripping from the actual motor, the rear wiper motor breaking from its mount, my overhead console (EVIC) broke, and the rear view mirrow broke off. But atleast I dont have any leaks

Holy shit! I'm going to scratch that idea, lol.

Well hopefully you are satisfied with the new set-up... let us know how it sounds once you get it fired up.

Re: My system Downgrade.

IMHO, a well built, modest setup sounds better then the heavily modified setups. There is nothing wrong with 10s and 12s. I have have dual 10s dual 12s and now i am more then happy with my single 12. Some people go all out for competition and alot go out because they have to make up for something they are lacking, others like us here on JG just want good sounds for good tunes. Great work dude, i cant wait to build mine.

Re: My system Downgrade.

haha. If you guys really want some I may consider it. I want to test mine out and make not only the sound is good but the way it mounts works out also. It should because I have driven around with them just sitting there and they didn't move an inch.

Re: My system Downgrade.

Well its going to be alittle longer until I get this all hooked up. I recieved my amp I bought on ebay which should have been new never opened (used ebay because the amp was discontinued and was the only place I could find it) But I recieved a Used, Scratched and DUSTY amp that isn't even the same model I paid for!!!! WTF is up with people.

So I have to get this straightened out. Now that I think of it.....I dont think I have had one good experience buying an amp online, this will be the last time.

Re: My system Downgrade.

Well I finally got everything in and Hooked up. Had a small problem getting the correct amp I bought...but It got straightened out and now everything is working! They sound Great! Just real clean sounding. Honestly I didn't expect them to sound as good as they do. So im extremely satisfied. I also put some Second Skin Damplifier Pro on my back doors and I have more to put on the front doors ( SECOND SKIN FTMFW!!!) but thats going to have its own thread.

Big 8ga Knukonceptz amp wiring kit

Soldered the speaker wire to the terminals, also soldered all my ring and spade terminals on the wire.

Amps under the seat both Alpine. MRP-F250 powering all the speakers, MRP-M450 Powering the Subs.

Sorry for the Crappy vids but its all I got!
