Re: Nave Bezel, adapter

Its installed now, just need to install the steering wheel controls wiring harness.

Next plans, Monster Wire heavy duty gauge RCA wires, Stealth box, custom mod for the "storage" tray in the nave bezel adapter.

I have that set-up, I have a nice Pioneer DEH6000 single din unit I bought because of the Ipod features, cd player, and 3 rca outputs. I hated the idea of having the half moons if i left my stock bezel in, so I bought the nav bezel and the Scosche radio trim kit. It looks great, and has a pocket thing below the head unit I keep my remote in.

That is 100% exactly why i did this to mine, i could not stand the half moons on the stock bezel adapter and i hate the bla look of the stock bezel.

i would like to sand the face of the dash kti smooth, fill that tray hole solid and paint that and the black part of the dash bezel gloss black.

I would like to do a pass side stealth box for my Kicker CVR12 but i dont know when i will actually do it. I want it to look unnoticeable or almost stock not blingy as well, i want it to blend in with the interior.

Edit, my to do list also includes new Kicker 6.5" rear door speakers, and new kicker 6.5" front door mids.

Re: Nave Bezel, adapter

I think because of the length of my sub it will be sticking out a bit in the cargo area. I think for the WK's JL has a 10W1. But screw it, right now I have an MDF box in the back that looks like crap. Lol.

Note my nice nav bezel, with only a single din unit. Half moons= no way!!!

And since im proud of my work, a pic of my hidden amps.

And can I ask why you want to go with Kicker mids, I can get you deals on better speakers if you want.

Re: Nave Bezel, adapter

LOL

I have an MDF premanufactured box that i paid $80 for at the local audio shop, it works and sounds fine but i want something a bit sleeker and something that will give me more space w/o having to remove it every time i need to put something in the jeep or fold the seat.

I want a 10" or 12" L7 kicker Solobaric but i dont have $$ to waste on a subwoofer i dont need when mine is perfectly fine.

This is what it is now, minus the bungee cord. my 750 Watt Kicker amp is mounted under the rear cargo floor with my home made cover, not the stock one. I still need to wrap my floor cover.

I have always liked Kicker products and i would like to keep as much of my system the same brand as i can if possible, i am not looking for comp stereo, but i have no complaints about my amp or sub. Also my friend who does compete with an amazing setup in a 2001 Dodge ram ex cab has all comp/component kicker speakers and it sounds great, amazing clarity and everything is amplified with kicker amps a total of 4 amps in that truck.

Re: Nave Bezel, adapter

Guys where did you all find the double din kits that can take a single din deck or a double? I finally got ahold of the nav bezel, and I want to install it but I have a single din dash kit right now for my alpine (half moons ftl) .. links please?
