Need help getting to factory amp-2014 GC Limited

I'm going to be doing a pretty major audio upgrade on my 2014 Grand Cherokee Limited. Haven't even had it in my possession 24 hours at the time of this post, lol. I've been big into car audio since about 2002. I remember reading where the factory amp is on the drivers side behind the rear panel by the rear hatch. I tried to pull it but got scared and stopped before breaking something. I'm going to invest in some panel popping tools for this one. Never "needed" them before but never had anything this nice either. Help will be much appreciated. I need to tap into it to sum the channels for a fullrange signal. My system will be...
JL Fix signal summing device to defeat factory time alignment and eq
Minidsp c-dsp 8 channel processor
JL XD800/8 amp
Audible Physics 6.5", 2.5", and 3/4" for 3-way front. Midrange will likely end up in kick panels with midbass and tweet in factory locations.
Arc Audio Arc 10 in a ported box. It looks like I can wedge the amp, processor, and signal fixer under the spare tire. Shouldn't take much to elevate the spare tire up enough to have more than enough room to work with, and the amp is so efficient and runs so cool I don't see cooling being a problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You really don't need "panel tools" to remove the rear quarter panels, but If you decide to buy a set check out harbor freight. They sell a kit for $8.99

If you need a guide for taking apart the rear panels check out JL's website under the 2011-2015 Grand Cherokee stealth box page. In there you will find a PDF file with installation instructions. That will show you everything that needs to be removed. Granted it's for the passenger side disassembly, but it's the exact same just opposite side.
