Unhappy NEED HELP rel to rb2

Hi guys,

i finally bought a head unit for my compass... Upgrading from REL to RB2... however when i plugged the new unit i purchased the headunit wont turn on at all.. furthermore after plugging it in i turn my key to ignition position and my dash and head light suddenly turn on itself... and my dash says: no bus

could you please give me advice on troubleshooting this issue?

p.s. im located in australia
