Need part numbers

ok if i get a Clarion VX709

what do i need to make my sirius work? I cant find an interface kit.

I think i can handle the steering wheel control kit and the harness adapter.

so far:
Clarion VX709
Metra adapter
nav bezel
PAC's C2R-CHY4 (adapter harness)
PAC SWI-JACK (steering wheel control)

please feel free to replace parts, but i'm completely clueless as to how to get it to interface with the jeep.

I opened a thread and rob answered it, but it was for a pioneer... and.... im back to clueless...

Re: Need part numbers

That unit only supports Xm, not Sirius. Although they are the same company, so you may be able to switch your current subscription.

You would need the Clarion "XM Universal Mini-Tuner" to add the sat radio to the unit.

What is the "Metra Adapter" you have listed?

Re: Need part numbers

Wouldn't that be the PAC's C2R-CHY4?? And the "Nav Bezel" would be the Din kit

Re: Need part numbers

metra adapter is the din kit, "nav bezel" is the actual dash part that makes my "no nav" jeep a "nav" jeep

No. The PAC's C2R-CHY4 is the vehicle harness.

The nav bezel converts the factory 1.5 din to a 2 din cavity.

The dash kit is the plastic kit that converts the factory 2 din opening to a universal mounting kit for a nav unit or a single din unit and cubby.

Re: Need part numbers

Well correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you need a dash kit in addition to the nav bezel, yes?

Re: Need part numbers

It was the phrasing that had me thrown off. I went Full-Retard on that one.

Yes you do need both. If moving from a 1.5 din to a dd.
