Exclamation Need WK2 SRT8 Connector Pin-Outs info

Anyone have access to the 2012 WK2 SRT8 Connector Pin-Outs info?

Specifically all the "Module - Steering Control" Pin-Outs from the service manual from the Wiring section.

There are probably 4 of them:
Module - Steering Control C1 - 16way Steering Column/Clockspring
Module - Steering Control C2 - 4way Drivers Air Bag
Module - Steering Control C3 - 6way Speed Control/Horn/Autostick
Module - Steering Control C4 - 2way Radio Controls

28 in all 12 pass through the clockspring

Info should look something like this example below

Radio Control MUX Return - C4 2 X920 20g GY/OR

Meaning:

Radio Control MUX Return = name of circuit
C4 = Connector #
2 = Cavity location on Module
X920 = # of circuit
20g = size of wire
GY/OR = color of wire

Thanks,
James

the whole list of connectors will be displayed. short of a service manual this will work.

Re: Need WK2 SRT8 Connector Pin-Outs info

Thanks Rob!

That is exactly what I needed. Now it's time to map these out and cross-reference the circuits

I'm finding that the circuits are named the same. It appears that they just modified the WK harnesses with some additional wiring. This makes it way easier.

Re: Need WK2 SRT8 Connector Pin-Outs info

Looks like a total rewire is needed. Circuits are named the same just in different pin locations.

It's looking very promising!

Thanks again Rob!

Re: Need WK2 SRT8 Connector Pin-Outs info

Hey Milous,

Any chance that you would have/be able to get the wiring diagram for:

2012 Jeep SRT8 - Harness 621123800B date of 10/7/11

And would you happen to know the voltage of:

2012 Jeep SRT8 - Module-Steering Control C3 (Black 6-way) specifically Cavity C2 circuit A909 22gauge Violet Fused B(+)

I want to make sure this is a true B(+) circuit. B(+) = battery voltage = 12V

Re: Need WK2 SRT8 Connector Pin-Outs info

Cannot do a search by harness number, where is the # from?

12V for B(+). For some reason the manual does not show C3 at all.

Thanks Milous,

The # is on the harness from inside the 2012 SRT steering wheel in the pic below

Thanks again,
James

Re: Need WK2 SRT8 Connector Pin-Outs info

The diagrams that are available for 2012 are not complete, and are laid out very poorly. I am not able to find the main harness that you show. I have attached a couple more wiring diags for the steering wheel area.

Success!

You did find it! It's just named differently...lol. The harness labled 1028789 in the PDF you attached is the exact diagram I needed!

Thanks Milous, you saved me a couple days work.

Awesome! After not finding much in the "steering" section I decided to look under "horn" and that's where I found more diagrams.
