Re: New Lockpick by Customtronix

Ask Chrysler for the price of the CD player and you'll wonder... The original BluRay is much more expensive...

Re: New Lockpick by Customtronix

Believe me I know the cost from Chrysler it's ridiculous to say the least. In my opinion I thought it was a little high that's all for someone looking to upgrade.

Re: New Lockpick by Customtronix

Is the current system compatible with those that have the factory blu-ray player already installed from the factory?

That's what I was hoping, but I wasn't sure if their custom software was still compatible with the OEM blu-ray entertainment package.

That is the benefit of their software is that it is using the mfg hardware and abilities just expanding them

Re: New Lockpick by Customtronix

I have a question about the lockpick, I would like to watch music video clips on my gc summit, what would be the best choice to do it? Ipod, or there is some hardisk to attach to it?
Thx.

Ipod is fine or any video source that you wish that is composite /RCA output a hardisk will not drive video directly alone

Re: New Lockpick by Customtronix

<i>CHR558</i> - Coastal Electronic lockpick,<br />
<br />
Installed....... but<br />
<br />
Dear Forum I have it and all functios are working, have only an anoying problem, when I call the lockpick menu, the display is not clear, <b>flicker</b><b> oc</b><b>cur</b><b>s on the screen, </b>and when I play videos from my Ipod it is not nice to see such flicker on the display.<br />
<br />
<br />
I follow this document (attached to the Uconnect Touch 8.4 2013-2014 upgrade software)<br />
<i>Set DIP <b>switch 3 to the DOWN</b> position (<b>which is opposite of the instructions included with the LockPick</b>). They do<br />
mention this in the graphic on page two of the instructions which illustrates the configuration of our SRTs.</i><br />
<b>The Original documentation writes to put it UP for the GC.</b><br />
Has any one of you installed it on a GC 2014, do you have such flicker on the display?<br />
<br />
Regards.<br />
<br />
Manuel<br/>
