Non-Jeep stereo help - DVD Parking Brake bypass/ground on Pioneer HU in an Eclipse

Installed a new H/U for my buddy in his 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse...since ricers are not my expertise haha I need a little help. Does anyone know how I can ground out the parking brake so he can watch DVD's...I have looked online and can't find any info on here. Under his dash there is no typical fuse box like in the WK so I have no clue which wire to tap into. I have been reading online about doing a bypass relay and there are cables on amazon that do the same thing. Should I just have him buy one of those? If anyone is familiar with these cars and/or which wire to tap into I would appreciate it. I did try grounding to the same spot I used for the H/U ground, but that did not work and I have read some of the newer Pioneers need to have the bypass relay or correct wire utilized (typical ground will not work, and I tried and confirmed this is the case). I do not want to have to run a wire to the engine bay if I don't have to...

Thanks in advance JG, and please move thread if in the wrong section...I didn't know where else to post.

FYI - This HU is AWESOME! A ton of features, super easy to use and a lot of options that even my RER doesn't have. Only downside is no Nav, but with Pandora capability, USB front acces with full iPod integration and a ton of otehr features, this thing is WELL worth the $350 is spent on BestBuy.com IMO. I cannot find the model number but the pics are above (3300 iirc)

www.avic411.com is your friend. Has TONS of info about all the Pioneer nav and non-nav dvd HU's, including all the bypass procedures.
