o2 sensor wiring information

Hey everyone. New to this forum thing and this is my first post. Have an 05 GC limited with the 5.7 and recently added new gauges in the interior. Overhead gauge pod by speedlogix is now loaded with a digital volt meter gauge and a narrowband ATF ratio gauge (primarily for looks, not performance). The volt gauge works great and I have all lights on and working for the ATF ratio gauge but cannot find the right o2 sensor wire to hook to for a reading. Was at local jeep dealer today and tech guy led me to pcm plug C2 and pins 31 and 33 for upstream o2 sensor leads. Spliced the wires once I got home and neither is giving me a readout on the gauge. Didn't have time to check voltage on wires (I know it has to be between 0.1 and 0.9 volts to work with gauge) and need pointers on which way I should go next?!?!? I know these are the right pins on the pcm bc I was right beside the dealership guy as we looked them up and he even printed the o2 wiring diagram for me to bring home. Any head would be appreciated. From the posts I've read before the community seems to be very knowledgeable and I'm excited to get this fixed so I can post some pics of the awesome gauge pod by speedlogix
