Purchased the Projector/Halos from Maxst2 and the DVD Headrests from LQQKOUT! Thank you guys!

I know some of you don't like the Projectors/Halos but I have to admit they do the job for me... plus they were a good deal; they came with the HID kit/slim ballasts. So thanks again Maxst2.

The DVD Headrests were easier to install than I originally thought. I love that they're 9" monitors and they zip up to conceal themselves. So thanks again LQQKOUT.

The Jeep is a lil messy since it's no longer driven by just me... actually you could say it's the wife's/kid's ride now. Dad gets to drive in the work van and the R1 work-in-progress. Anyway, here are the pics. Just wanted to share my latest update to my baby who's 4 and half years old.

PS- I'm like the old folks that leave the plastic on the furniture; I can't seem to get myself to peel the plastic off the monitors! LOL Let me know what y'all think! Thank you for looking!

any chance you know if this will work for the 05. I Know 07 is the first year they had the back up cam so not sure if mine supports video or not??

I have the stock nav and a stock flip down tv would love to be able to watch a movie on both at the same time.

how much were those headrests???

Im digging those!!

whats the brand?
I got these from LQQKOUT and he sold them for $285. These are 9" monitors with a built DVD in one and they are some no name brand DVD Headrest- Innovatek. It came with the hardware, 2 remotes, and 2 IR headphones. Awesome deal. The resolution was surprisingly good.

Looks real good but whats the point of the DVD player in the glove box?

The headrests has one DVD buit-in to feed both but the DVD in the glovebox is for the NAV unit. So my wife can watch her movie and my kids can watch theirs. We take lots of trips and at the end of the month we are going to NYC! Any meets?

Oh thanks.

Isn't there another solution for it?

Wait....I get it. But I was just wondering why not connect the headrests to the HU.

I believe you are confused on how the lockpick works

all it does is allow the factory hu to display video

you still need a dedicated dvd player to project the image onto the factory hu

you can get the image to the hu in several ways:
1. ipod
2. dedicated dvd player in console or glove box
3. dvd built in headrest monitors
4. tricky but working on it currently......a video tap in off of the factory rear seat entertainment system

The glory of having an aftermarket HU. Lol.

Thanks Sven. I hear ya! But Maxst2 was selling them with HID kits and it was too good of a price to pass up. Just don't go hammerin on mine or i'll go wax on wax off on ya. LOL!
