quick stereo question fellas

my wife owns a 2005 cherokee with nav and all, she wants to replace the 6x9 doors ( midbass) with a pair of three ways. will i get the highs and mids from them because the factorys are just midbass . thanks

Re: quick stereo question fellas

Is it the Boston system? The amp has an internal crossover that splits the front stage as far as I know. I believe only the rear doors get a full range (or close to it) signal.

^^^^^^^^^^^^this is correct.

front doors are bass only.

get her some better dash speakers to make up for that/
