Radio and Media Base Sound Levels

2015 JGC Overland Trail Rated model. Adjusted the audio settings for radio, SXM and media as much as allowable but still get significant base levels beyond my liking. Anyone else notice this and how to adjust base further downward. Surround Sound set to off. On the other hand, maybe I've just never experienced a quality sound system in a vehicle before... Thanks.

Yes, definitely a reoccurring issue that quite a few people dislike.

The only way I've gotten the sound levels as close to "good" as I'd like, is with my iPod, equalizer set to bass reduce, with the audio on the device a little past half way up. And that's still giving me some pretty muddy bass levels, but that's the best I've been able to do.

Most annoying part of the Jeep from my experience.
