REC radio not seeing GPS satellites

I just upgraded to a REC radio and hooked up the GPS antenna behind the radio. The Clock sets via GPS so i think i am getting good signal but when i try and use the NAV i am seeing not satellites. Is it a signal issue or something else?

Re: REC radio not seeing GPS satellites

Maybe try taking the negative (black) terminal off the batter for 1 minute or so to reset the system.

Re: REC radio not seeing GPS satellites

where did you install the gps antenna(behind radio or under dash). are you sure the gps antenna is plugged into the REC radio. is the antenna in a flat position. do you have an original disc or is it a copy. i just upgraded from the RAQ to the REC 2 weeks ago. it takes about 10 seconds for the gps to update when you first start your vehicle.
