Re: Reverse LEDs - so many options- what do you recommend?

the led should be fine, i want to clean off the stock bulb since it gets hot pretty quick and any residue from my fingers can make the bulb burst - at least it will for your high/low beams i would assume it could happen with the reverse bulbs too

Re: Reverse LEDs - so many options- what do you recommend?

Thanks Jeremy...so those LED's you got do not require a resistor?? I think this has been answered but i want to make sure before I spend $60; they just seem like they may need too much power??? If no resistor is required I am going to order them...

Re: Reverse LEDs - so many options- what do you recommend?

Brad, no resistor required - completely plug and play

Might want to wait to see the pics of how much of a difference there is in the bulbs - I haven't driven at night yet to see how much difference there is.

Also, if you order from v-leds don't forget the coupon for 15% off

Re: Reverse LEDs - so many options- what do you recommend?

As promised. They're not as bright as I thought they were going to be, they're a little brighter. Backing up with the camera the picture is still dark and kind of hard to see. Worth the $60+ shipping with the 15% discount...ehh I can't really say since I haven't seen the cheaper bulbs.

evening: one led - one stock

night: one led - one stock

night: one led - one stock

night: both leds

Re: Reverse LEDs - so many options- what do you recommend?

Looking at your night time pics, I definitely see a brighter casting of light on the ground with the LEDs. Looks good to me.

Re: Reverse LEDs - so many options- what do you recommend?

Yeah it is brighter, but what I was hoping for was brighter picture in the backup camera for at night, which I don't really see. You might be able to get a similar brightness with a cheaper led as well - I'm not sure though.

I hear ya man...I think the only thing that would really do that is the HID though!
