Stealthbox Install

I just got a great deal on a JL Stealthbox on Craigslist that I am going to be installing in my 05 WK with REF unit & Factory Boston Acoustic amp.

I want to a Hi-level input and was wondering if I can tap into the speaker wiring coming off the factory BA amp to send signal to the Kicker amp I am going to be using to run the JL?

I don't mind the stock headunit other then I need a IPOD hookup (although the guy also gave me a ISimple but after installing it, I read the instructions and its not compatible with the REF...)

Or am I better off spending alot more money and get an aftermarket HU and a user interface to retain the factory amp and SWC?

In my '08 I went to the Boston amp and tapped the REAR speaker level outs to feed a LOC (can go direct to high level inputs on your amp) and then to a JL 250/1 for the stealthbox. I also used the factory amp bracket bolt as a grounding point for my amp. Never had an issue with the stereo in the 7 years I owned my WK (from new).

Thanks for the input, so I could have been safe running a traditional LOC off the wiring to the amp. Oh well I found a PAC Amp Integration Harness on ebay for $35 so I am just going to use this piggy backed to the ISimple and also found a RAQ Headunit for $50 to make the ISimple work.
Hope to have everything next weekend to do the install.
