Keep you updated.
Sounds good Timmy!

Re: Sub Enclosure-To Dampen or not to Dampen?

Last night I put the poly fill in and there seemed to be less bass than before, so I removed it and left the crate foam in and its def tighter and heavier bass now. I had metallica cranked and the kick drum was unreal sounding. It sounds cleaner i'd say and was hitting hard. I really cant believe its only a 10" back there in such a small box. I didnt try the poly fill alone without the crate foam, so not sure what that would do, but i'd recommend the crate foam to anyone.

Yeah, both is a bit overkill, that's why you experienced the loss of the "punch."

Re: Sub Enclosure-To Dampen or not to Dampen?

I can 100% say the egg crate foam def improved the output of the sub. Plus I noticed my systems sounding better because the speakers are now broken in and with the cooler temps out my amps are loving it.
