Re: ***subs***

It is really easy! DD's website gives you the exact measurements you need. Thats what i did. If you look on my thread
07 SRT8 Audio Upgrade
I have pics of how I built the box. I got the measurements from DD's website. Went to Lowes and had them cut me 3/4 MDF board to the exact measurements. Went home and screwed it together

Re: ***subs***

Yeah kicker has the same thing on their website i want mine to be completely custom, and no offense i want to do it on my own, thank you though. I would just feel more satisfied with it if i did it with my own two hands, you know like a self-fulfilling pride.

Re: ***subs***

JL is way way way overpriced for what it is.......im not sayin they dont sound good, but there are many other subs out there that outperform in clarity and spl at nearly half the price

Re: ***subs***

Hmm I forgot about orion. And just realized that I didnt put what im lookin to get out of the subs. Im mainly lookin for clarity so jl has it there, but at an affordable price for my budget. I also want them to hit hard but not too hard just bring the bass in songs out a lil more. It seems like now with my stock system if I listen to a song with some good bass it takes away from or basically drowns out the lyrics. So I basically want somethin that sounds clean, isnt gonna rape my pockets, has nice bass but isnt gonna bust my ear drums or make my jeep rattle. Maybe I should have started with that. My bad guys.

Re: ***subs***

Bro if you want great sound quality{clarity} then look at RE AUDIO they are a great sub at a reasonable price. Look at the reviews from sonicelectronix on the SEX=12s.
