too much bass?

So I'm sitting at a stop light today. I find a song I really like, so I keep turning it up louder and louder. Until I here a strange noise. I turn it down for a second, then I don't see or hear anything else, so I turn it up even louder. That's when I hear another crack and my rear view mirror snaps clean off the mount and is now dangling by the connector. Not just falling off, the mount broke in half! Upon further inspection my windshield is also cracked on the top right corner now.

I think I found the limit for my WJ. Now I have to buy a new rear view mirror.
