Tracking the jeep

I'd like a way to track where my jeep is, potentially how fast its been driven etc., when used by my kids.
Seems to me with Nav there should be a way to figure where it's being driven. Has anyone found a device like that?

Re: Tracking the jeep

sams club sells a GPS tracker that uploads the data to google maps. it is magnetic and clips under the vehicle. when you want data you bring it inside and plug in the usb. its pretty good for the price.

Re: Tracking the jeep

There's services that put a GPS tracker in the car, and you can access all of the information online. Where they are, how fast they are going, where they've been, how long the engine was running, how much idle time, stops and starts, and it wil also track mileage based maintenance too.
I use it in all of my company trucks. It cost about $60/month per vehicle. The one I have is invisible, it would take a hell of a search to find if you didn't know it was there.
