Use SIRI on Uconnect

Do you have a RES, REQ, RBZ or RHB radio and an IPhone? Would you like SIRI or Visual voice mail to work thru Uconnect? Well now you can, I have a buddy that modified the SW to make them both work. I have a video of it as well as several people that have done it and all have positive results. See post # 53 at the link below:

you can also see the video here:

You can also use the "Hey SIRI" feature when the phone is plugged into an external power supply (lighter adapter, USB connector etc)

Re: Use SIRI on Uconnect

If anyone reading this is curious about it, I have over 50 people that have used it and are quite pleased. Here's a link to the most used location:

Re: Use SIRI on Uconnect

Hello XSDBS, your post has pushed me to finally join a forum; something I don't do often. I, of course, own a Jeep Wrangler 2015 JK and am frustrated by Mopar's lack of support with regards to the UConnect and phone connectivity.

I have reached out to them, but do not plan to hear any response. Soooo.... your friend's customized firmware seems like an interesting option though something I am cautiously approaching.

I am always extremely hesitant of utilizing non-OEM supported products, especially something as enigmatic as their head unit firmware.

Has this firmware update been tested for maintaining full original equipment functionality?

All of the posts from other comments seem positive, but is there any lack of audio quality or negative attributes to applying the firmware?

Can the head unit still be flashed with more recent Mopar updates when/if they do release an update after being flashed with the custom f/w?

If, for whatever reason, the custom f/w doesn't work; is there a stock firmware that can be provided or loaded into head unit to retain factory condition?

Thank you,

-Brandon
