What kind of lock pick do i need. Rec to rer

Just picked up a mygig rer. Spent two days looking at info about them. So what I got was I need a lock pic. I don't kno what one to get. Adapters, lock picks, ect. I know I need the Bezel. My question is can I use the chr550 or should I get the v.5? What's te difference between them and stuff. I want to be able to play movies and have my nav work. Also stream videos off my iPhone 4S or iPod. Someone please chime in. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm starting to think I should of just gone with an alpine double din.

MYGIG ADAPTER

Don't be discouraged. I put the mygig in and I love it, glad I did it. The only thing I could never figure out is how to stream video from my phone/ipod.

Awesome. What adapter. I herd of v.3 and 4 and 5. Any difference in them? And I herd the chr550 has the I pod adapter that clicks in and that's the only way you can play video from it. Did you here anything like that? Would chr550 work from my old rec to rer mygig? I couldn't find the older model adapters. $250 for the v.5. That's a bit much after buying the $500 rer. What's your thoughts?

I have an older version, pretty sure I don't have the v.5 and I don't really know the differences between the two. I can't comment on the chr550, but when I bought the older version of the adapter, it was only $150 on eBay.. I might have it for sale soon. Keep an eye out

if you want Streaming Videos......this not work with a mygig lockpick-Adapter!

550 are make to Streaming Videos to the mygig, but the 550 you can not buy as Adapter, only for 2008-2013 cars
