BTW, you need one of those interface boxes regardless of if you are BA or non-BA. The only difference is how you wire it in. And for reference, the OP said he DID have a BA system.
I gotcha, I think i was responding to an earlier post but when I described the install as a breeze the OP did not know which system he had.

All of these integration harnesses are overpriced, when I make a recommendation to someone not accustomed to or experienced with wiring the plug and play nature along with the step by step instructions included usually makes for the easiest install. But yeah 80$ is absurd.

Re: What will I need? Clarion NX500

I used a regular $5 wire harness. ACC was lost but I improvised. That's why I was saying it will not be a breeze even if you have the bare bones system without the amp like me because there will be wires on the harness that will not have power.

Personally, I would have gotten the Clarion. Lol. Much better quality over OEM. But I understand that OEM looks good.

I think my 7" touch screen is awesome though.

Thanks for the info guys..

Still a bit confused about what I will need for the OEM MYGIG..

Is it just the Nav bezel and GPS antenna (didn't come with)?

Yes, that should be all you need to get it to factory specs. However, like I said, you'll need add'l hardware if you want the increased functionality of being able to watch video in motion (I say this reluctantly in hopes I don't spark a debate) or be able to enter addresses and stuff like that while moving. This is called a lockpick. Just google it.

PAC audio also makes one and I always recommend their products. As you can see, it's not cheap (lockpick costs about the same):

Thanks, Yes Ive heard of the lockpic and I know that it enables the video in motion + other features. I am an Electronics Engineer.. I have heard the system just creates a pulse signal that simulates the parking brake going on... which would be very simple to make with a few components, but I would have to buy one first and scope the output and look at the wiring.. if it looks simple enough ill make a few copies and sell for cost (a few dollars). Thanks guys.

I agree that whatever signal it is sending would be easy enough to emulate but where I think the Lockpick has got you beat is the features. My bro has a lockpick in his charger and it has such features as being able to activate the reverse camera at any time and other convenience stuff like that. You can pick and choose each one of these features and all of it is enabled/disabled by pressing existing buttons on the radio in a specific sequence. I think things like that would be tough to duplicate. Just letting you know.

Agreed. It wouldn't be so hard, but very very time consuming. I would prob just make a few (or a tutorial) on how to simply allow for video in motion. Incase someone doesn't wanna spend the 200 and only needs that feature for the passengers or Nav. Just a thought.. we will see.
