any one have led bulbs in their taillights? i got mine tinted and i dont want them to warp. i was wondering if any resistor is needed for the lights to function properly(mostly day time lights and braking) i believe reverse won't have a problem.

LOLOL bring it

you only have ONE bulb so what do you mean braking bulb??

your ONE bulb has 3 wires. so do 2 things. run the 6ohm resistor across the ground and the brake blink, the middle wire is park lamp. leave it alone.

then order CK bulbs OR switch the 2 outer wires going into the bulb. yes the gound and the brake blink. cross them over. then ANY 3157 will work. and the stock bulb will still work too.:slapfight:

did you make a little harness rub or cut and splice your factory wires? i think i might want to make a harness. i know you can buy the plugs at autolummination ct?

you swapped the wires at the bulb and not the led, which wires did you swap. i know for the resistor you only have to tap into the two outside wires... far as reverse goes any recommendations? i know you said they don't need anything special.

your standard bulb can go in either way so it works in both a CK or other type 3157 socket. since LED only work ONE WAY they will NOT work in a CK type socket.

bro i didnt create the issue.....google can show you this is not only a jeep proble,m . heck, they creted a special bulb to fix the issue

Yup.. LED is polar sensitive... I realize that.... but I am not sure why a resistor will remedy that?
