I'm the guy selling the 2" lift. I cleared 265/70/17's (about 32") without a problem. I'll give ya a deal on it if your interested. Its a lot cheaper than buying a 4" kit.

Re: '03 wj

I've not taken the wj offroading yet. I used to have a wrangler that I used to offroad with and it was much easier once I had put a lift on it. I'm just looking for suggestions for a descent lift that isn't super expensive. What kind of price are you looking at getting rid of it for? Is the picture you put up your jeep with the 2" lift on it?

Re: '03 wj

I was looking to get $300 for it. I have $500 in the set including a front steering stabilizer. What is your location and I can see what shipping will be approx. I'll try and keep it around that with shipping. The setup has low miles and has only went offroad once. BDS builds some heavy duty shit......... and yes that is a pic with the 32's and the 2" lift.

Re: '03 wj

this chart sums up what u need and can do at each lift

at 3" you will not need new control arms. at 4" you will need new control arms and springs do not just work at 4".
also at 3" and up if you have a front drive shaft that is rezzepa (boot on TC or diff end) will need a new one or it will blow up on you .

for a 3" lift i would recommend the IRO 3" kit without shocks (upgrade to MX6 or bilstein most other will give you a harder ride) http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=IROR&Product_C ode=IR-W_3LK&Category_Code=PFW
at 3" n up also will want a bigger sway bar in the rear to help with body roll. so upgrade to the addco 1" with grasble bushings. a adjustable track bar for JKS, and longer end links in the front (if u offroad get quick disconnects)

for a 4" lift its a bit more info and am not 100% on that info so i will not post info and it will be wrongs. what i will say is go over to jeepforum.com and read up on lifts since there more about lifted jeeps then street jeeps over there

hope it helps

Re: '03 wj

Those kits are ok but they don't include control arms which u want at 4". I should have the zone 4" installed by Monday. have to get the front drive shaft cut and rebalanced and I recommend upper control arms at 4" also. So u are looking at almost 500 more than my 2" I have for sale which u don't need control arms or pitman arm or drive shaft cut. good sales pitch? Lol

sorry this looks like the right kit but liek i said i don't knoe allot about 4" and over since its to much for me and stooped looking into it after i noticed its way out of budget for me
some 4" lift info here http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f310/...j-lift-951073/
and more good info here http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f310/...-here-1159429/

can do the 3" and add 3/4" spacers on all the corners for a lift a 3.75" lift.
also at 3" and 4" can fit the same tier 265/70R16 so will just have an extra inch of ground clearances.

also you will want to replace all the spring isolators while you are they because they wear and cause people to loss up to 1" of high.
and dont bother with a TC drop kit

man stop pushing your 2" coils. just sell them on eBay or post in the for sale. I know BSD coils are good but if he want 3" + of a lift he wants 3"+.

Re: '03 wj

I'm just letting him know that over 2" u want new track bar, control arms, transfer case drop, a-arm spacer and so on. I make good money and not to worried about 300 bucks. I want to help somebody out and don't want this kit sitting in my garage. When his shit rides like crap and breaks he can come talk to u. U won't get a good quality offroad/daily driver kit that's 3" or bigger for less than $800 with all that u need.

lol i understand were you coming from. but most people that just setal for 2" at first just lift higher later on. the shocks are the key part to the quality of the but some dont mind a rough ride when lifting, tahst why i recomend the MX6 shocks or bilstein but your talking about a bit under $400 right there.

he wants 3"+ so hes going to pay to play but he has done this before so he has an idea of what he is in for. even at 2" some people have problems and takes just as much to fix as a on a 3" or 4" lift.

am at 2.5" with rusty springs, MX6 shocks, new coils isolators, rear ADDCO sway bar with grease able bushings rough county quick disconnect in the front link, 2.5" block on the rear links, JSK track bar and thats just the main of what i have done to my suspension lol

even if i did the 2" coils or BB which i was going to but got a deal on the 2.5" coils i would still have done all the extras i have, do i need then no but they help me allot as as dd and offorad.

PM me what you have for sale, how old/miles, how much you want might know a person that is interested. zip is 11228
