Factory fit is 235/65 17. Ive got an Overland and it does seem to sit a little heigher that a LTD (although the "up country package" has never been proved to exist in Europe)

Thing is, it makes the wheel/tyre package look a little small for the arch/ride height.

Next size up in General grabber AT or Cooper AT is 245/70 17. Is anyone using these at the moment, is there any rubbing problems ?
Were only talking 10mm wider and 5mm diameter

You should not have any rubbing with those tyres.I have used 255/65 r17 on my overland in the past no problems, currently running 265/65 r18 with no problems. You are however out a little with the 5mm diameter increase, it will actually be 37.5mm increase in diameter.Speedo will read about 5% slower too.
Cheers

I am running 255/65r17 on my WJ with saggy springs. I get a slight rub when the wheel is locked and the front suspension is flexed but there is no damage from the rub.
